Senior Attorney

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Social Security Administration (SSA) is hiring up to two experienced attorneys at the GS-15 level.  The incumbents will serve as senior attorneys in SSA OIG’s  Office of Counsel for Investigations and Enforcement (OCIE).  The attorneys will conduct high-profile and sensitive investigations and reviews that may originate with requests from the Inspector General (IG), Congress, whistleblowers, or through other sources.  The incumbents must demonstrate extensive experience conducting investigations or special reviews which include procurement fraud, public integrity, or ethics laws.  The position may be located in Woodlawn, MD or Washington, DC.
